Kim Grieff has had a passion for animals all her life. She has rescued everything from a cricket in the house to a drowning baby gopher.

Kim volunteers her time, money and efforts to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted dogs and puppies.  She started “Tutor Rescue”, a rescue and placement organization.  Due to the numerous emergency situations with foster dogs, rescue dogs and her own pets over the past decade, Kim hunted for a program that would teach the “common pet owner” what to do in case of an emergency.  After much research, Kim realized there was a lack of programs available in the Houston area and joined the Pet Tech family of instructors in 2006.  Her goal and Pet Tech ’s mission is “Improving the quality of pets’ lives, one pet owner at a time”.  Kim hopes to reach those seeking the same information and craving for knowledge as she did.  This includes pet care professionals, shelters, rescue organizations, dog clubs and of course – you, the pet owner.

a

"I believe every pet lover should participate in this class" Kim told the Tomball/Magnolia Potpourri in 2006.  The idea of losing a pet because "you didn't know what to do" is no longer.  You want the owner to say "I applied everything I was taught and it helped my pet pull through."  Knowing pet owners can apply the techniques with confidence is very rewarding.  I have received calls from students that used this information and saved their pet's life".
